Pipeline and Processing

Our innovative nitrogen systems are specifically designed with the operator and applications in mind – ease, efficiency, and reliability of operation.

The inert properties of nitrogen make it widely used in the oil and gas industry. Nitrogen is odorless, non-polluting, and non-reactive in nature, making it highly suitable for applications such as pipeline inerting and oil well stimulation. Nitrogen can be generated on-site at high pressures and low oxygen levels to safely prevent ignition of flammable gases or protect oil field tubulars from downhole corrosion.

Dry nitrogen is used to displace hydrocarbons in a pipeline or push a “pig” down a pipeline during cleaning operations. Nitrogen is also used to dry chemical pipelines to very low dew points, or for general inerting during plant turnarounds.
