Summary This position will be accountable for end-to-end business forecasting.  They will review the company’s finances with a critical eye to identify data anomalies, trends, or deviations and then introduce strategies for improvement.  They will also transform the overarching company strategy into an executable multi-year strategic plan, annual operating plan, and quarterly/monthly/weekly/daily targets for the management team to execute against.  The position will evaluate all M&A opportunities with the management team.

PCI Gases is a brand built on a reputation based on durable, reliable original equipment enabling small and medium sized military, healthcare, and industrial operators to control their critical oxygen and nitrogen supply chains.  PCI Gases revenue streams include original equipment sales, aftermarket parts, and more complex, long-term sale-of-gas rental arrangements.  A significant portion of PCI Gases cost stack is purchased components; therefore, collaboration with supply chain professionals is critical to the role.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy.
  2. Provide decision support to the management team and the board of directors.
  3. Ensure forecasts are appropriate to support strategic sourcing long term agreements and capacity planning.
  4. Develop critical models to achieve the vision and maximize corporate valuation.
  5. Assist in the business transformation to add recurring revenue models (i.e., financial/operating leases, sale of gas, etc.) including contracts, and risk management.
  6. Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts
  7. Evaluate bolt-on acquisitions and growth investment analysis and financing.
  8. Undertakes proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  9. Works effectively and communicates clearly and professionally to other employees and professional entities.
  10. Handles changing deadlines and priorities effectively.
  11. Reviews work for accuracy, completeness and proper authority.
  12. Complies and enforces company policies, practices and procedures.

 Education and/or Experience

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or related field and/or 10+ years related experience preferably in manufacturing industry.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such audit reports, accounting regulations, letters of credit, etc..  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to calculate complex figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge and hands on experience of MS applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel); Accounting software; strong database (i.e., development and complex queries); ERP software (i.e., EPICOR or similar software); BI tools (selection and integration) ability to prepare spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, graphs, charts, and reports as needed.
