Summary: Under minimum supervision conducts testing in accordance with established procedures.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Assemble and disassemble equipment when provided with verbal or written instruction.
  2. Understanding blue prints, flow diagrams and electrical schematics.
  3. Read and understand process diagrams.
  4. Accurately record test results.
  5. Has working knowledge of testing techniques and procedures.
  6. Comply with company policies, practices, and procedures.
  7. Participate in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  8. Work effectively and communicate clearly with other employees.
  9. Handle changing deadlines and priorities.
  10. Review work for accuracy, completeness, and proper authority.
  11. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience

 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 – 3 years’ related experience in manufacturing, preferably in the industrial gas industry.

 

Other Requirements:

 

The individual must be willing and able to work over-time as needed, including weekends; demonstrated good attendance record. Responsible for providing the following work tools: wrenches, ratchets, socket

set, screw drivers and multi-meter.

 

Language Skills

 

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

 

Mathematical Skills

 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 

Reasoning Ability

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
