Private company UNACEM donates PCI DOCS 500 Oxygen Generators in Peru for public hospitals
The initiative in Lima has involved the use of 50 daily medical oxygen cylinders to face the COVID-19 pandemic
During this pandemic, PCI Gases has proved the high quality and technology of its equipment, which is why it is chosen by large private companies as the main supplier of Oxygen Generators for hospitals.
UNACEM, the largest private cement producer in Peru, as part of its support program against COVID-19, donated a DOCS 500 Oxygen Generator to the Jose Galvez maternal and Child Hospital, owned by the Government of Peru, located in Villa Maria del Triunfo, Lima.
This equipment was installed in September 2021 and inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Mr. Guido Bellido, on behalf of the President of Peru. This equipment is part of an interesting quantity of oxygen generators that PCI provided to hospitals during the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
PCI medical Oxygen Generator started operating in Tarma
The year before, in October 2020, a PCI DOCS 500 Oxygen Generator was inaugurated and started up at the Félix Mayorca Soto Hospital, in Tarma-Junín region in Peru, for the care of patients with COVID-19. The installation of this equipment is a reality because of the united work between the authorities, population and private company.
UNACEM donated the medicinal oxygen plant and a compressor that will facilitate the transfer of oxygen within the hospital. The equipment is valued at more than S/. 1.2 million and the donation was given within the framework of the Campaign “Help us to Save Lives – Breathe Tarma”.
