Applications

Modular* Cryogenic Nitrogen Plants:

Modular, Liquid Oxygen (LOX) / Liquid Nitrogen (LIN)

2.0TPD Or 5.0 TPD

Designed for applications, including commercial requirements for LOX/LIN, where it is not required to relocate the units on a regular basis. Designed with four modules that can be transported in ISO containers. The modules are erected at the operating site and connected with prefabricated piping spolls that are shipped with unit – fully operational in less than two days. Available in two sizes, the smaller unit produces 2.0 tons per day while the large unit produces 5.0 tons per day.

GAMMA*

Liquid Oxygen (LOX) / Liquid Nitrogen (LIN)

1.5 TPD

The PCI GAMMA Liquid Oxygen/Liquid Nitrogen Generator is designed to be transportable on a C-130 aircraft. It can be deployed and operational in extreme remote locations in under four hours. The plant can also produce high pressure Gaseous Oxygen (GO2) or Gaseous Nitrogen (GN2) for filling cylinders. This self-contained plant, built on a 463L pallet, will fit in a C-130 aircraft, can be flown to a forward area, and generate LOX in under four hours. The primary product is Aviators Breathing Oxygen, but these plants also produce Nitrogen for servicing tires, struts, and accumulators on fighter aircraft.Download Product Profile

Dry-Air Purging Unit

The Air Purging Unit is used primarily for purging liquid oxygen storage and transfer tanks. This unit is designated as: GSU-62/M, NSN 3655-01-561-4006, Purging Unit, Air, Liquid Oxygen Storage Tank.

A dry-air purge system is more common than nitrogen. External compressed air is fed into a desiccant dryer system before being used to purge the chamber air.

The unit consists of a motor, blower, electrical power box assembly and heater assembly, mounted to a trailer. System piping for the air flow interconnects the drier to the blower, the blower to the heater assembly and the heater assembly to the service hose. The enclosed housing has four latched, top- hinged doors on the sides. The rear of the housing has a heater access door for removal of the heater element when required. The trailer chassis is of welded channel construction with forklift channels and is supported by a four-wheel running gear with a hand brake. The chassis frame has a rear pintle hook which allows tandem towing of other vehicles, swivel tie-down rings for securing the trailer during transportation and reflectors for road safety.
